"Web Beauftragter" of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich:

In the ETH Zurich Web I'm since 1997 responsible for Journalistic and Juristic aspects. Among other stuff, I have to check websites under the domain "ethz.ch" for Quality and Conformity to the WWW-Regulations of the ETH Zurich. Moreover I have to organize the ETH WWW-Workshops and I try to keep track of the development and new technologies in the WWW and promote its application in the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. My Goal is to improve operation, design and reliability of the ETH Zurich Web.

Editor of "ETH Life"

ETH Life is the official daily webjournal of ETH Zurich. Under www.ETHLife.ethz.ch we report the campus-news of ETH. Moreover I work in the continuing development of the "ETH Life" Content-Management-System "Life-CMS", which is based on the XML Application Server AxKit.

"Assistant" at the Institute of Scientific Computing at the ETH Zurich:

From 1996 until September 2000 I was Assistant at the Institute of Scientific Computing at the ETH Zurich. During winter term I was teaching assistant for the lecture "Einsatz von Informatikmitteln (VI/1, VII/1, XA/1, XB/1, XC/1)", during summer for "Programming and problem solving (XC/2, VI/2)". Our research group (Prof. Dr. H. Hinterberger) mainly addressed issues related to the management of large amounts of scientific data.
